Jerry Larson: My Electrical Contractor & His Famous Brothers
Jerry Larson, our electrical contractor who lives in Montara, and says he’s the” invisible” member of his family, has three brothers in show business.
Kevin, who lives in San Carlos, is a stunt car driver who recently starred in a Lexus commercial filmed on San Francisco’s Lombard “the world’s most crooked” Street. According to Jerry, his younger brother goes all over the place. Recently he performed a remarkable stunt, seeming to parachute out of nowhere to hand Lance Armstrong an energizing drink during the recent Tour de France that Armstrong won for the seventh time.
Then there’s Darrell Larson, a character actor, who worked with Julia Roberts in “Stepmom” and Walter Mattheau in “Kotch”– and many other films. He lives in New York and Jerry says Darrell, who’s an older brother, enjoys stage work more than films and tv. His wife is the daughter of William Styron, the famous author of “Sophie”.
A younger brother lives in L.A. and does sound mixing for films like “Antz” and “Nemo”.
Until today Jerry never told me this. You never know about your electrical contractor….
